Chart Trader

Account, ATM, quantity, TIF.

The four things you pick on the Chart Trader panel: the account, the ATM strategy, the TIF and the order quantity. Set them by prompt on one chart window or on every window showing that instrument. The click stays yours: it never places, sizes or cancels an order. The seven below are one session in order.

In the sequence: still in HTAITest, on the ES and NQ windows you built. Turn Chart Trader on and pick a sim account. The replies below were recorded September 24, 2026; your window counts and ATM templates may differ.

Permission: Chart Trader on the menu (Help > High Tech Trading Analysis > AI Bridge > Chart Trader), its own switch, off by default. Reading the panels needs nothing. Two things to know: Chart Trader is one panel per window, not per tab, so a set lands on whatever tab is active in that window; and only the workspace you are looking at is written to, a window in a background workspace is read and reported, never set.

The chart's own Chart Trader setting, the three-way toolbar button, set by prompt: off, visible, or on with the panel hidden. Changing that chart setting needs the chart’s permission indicator. Visible and hidden panels remain settable; an off panel does not.

In the active workspace, point every NQ chart window at Sim101 and put my 2C ATM strategy on them.

Every window showing that instrument set in one go. Picking an ATM strategy makes NinjaTrader apply that template's own quantity and TIF too, and your assistant tells you so, every time.

Every chart window in the workspace set in one go, so the panels match. The ATM brings its own quantity and TIF with it, and the reply says so.

The assistant replied

The bridge refused a set with no window filter, so it went to every window on the DarkGray Auto Tab, which is both of them. ATM ES1 is on two windows. The template moved the NQ quantity to 1 and the ES TIF to GTC. Both panels now read Sim101, ES1, GTC, quantity 1, in step with each other.

Collapse the Chart Trader panel on the NQ chart, leave it open on the ES chart, then save this workspace.

The panel closed on one window and left open on the other, both still on and settable, then the workspace saved for the Orders page.
