Auto Tab Linking | NT8 27 reviews
For someone that trades multiple commodities at once, the auto tab tool is a must have.
having to switch between different symbols used to be such a headache..
i truly recommend this tool to anyone that trades multiple instruments.
Auto Tab makes following multiple futures symbols in different time frames easy. I follow six symbols on tabs in one window. I have multiple windows with different time frames, 1 min, 5 min, 1 hr,, a range chart, and a daily. I can quickly check all the different time frames for NQ and then switch to the ES. Makes spotting U Turns easier. Before, I would get confused and think that I was looking at Gold and it was actually the Dow. I’ve also added a global time scroll to all the charts except the 1 min.
The HTSync ChartTrader also makes trading easier. Just set the ATM strategy & click the button, then you can easily use the same strategy in multiple time frames. I read that people began asking NinjaTrader for these features back in 2019. Guess they’ll catch up in future versions.
AutoTab is a fantastic product. Easy to use, and the customer support is superb. I had a question due to user error a year after purchase and the response and resolution was almost instant!

Highly recommended for assisting with your multi-time-frame analysis
The Autotab product really made my life in Ninjatrader so much better as I don’t have to keep flipping between different instruments and timeframes during the trading session. Instead, all I have to do is click on the tab of the instrument I want to view and the other timeframes in other charts follow right along and make the picture instantly very clear. Installation of the product worked seamlessly as well and there was no hassle in setting this up in NT from the start. Thank you Steve!

Great Product glad to have found it! It has cut my charts by 1/2 plus lets me divide my Long-Short Time frames to sequence as programmed vs. clicking all over the place. This is a very slick little product. Ninja traders will be well aware of the difficulty moving from one group of charts to another with the native Ninja tools. Very easy to miss things or you need 16 monitors to watch multiple markets from multiple chart styles. The Auto tab makes it one click easy to get to all your charts for any given asset. It’s very fast since they are already loaded. Set it up one time and it’s good to go. Finally the support from High Tech is excellent. Highly recommended!

I have used Auto Tab for several years now and it is a fantastic product. There is simply no comparing the efficiency to my trading it provides between using it and not using. Watch the videos. They succinctly summarize the benefits. I would also agree with what Joe Sykora had to say concerning performance. NT seems to run a little bit smoother with Auto Tab compared to running the same number of tabs as separate windows. Add to that whenever I have had a problem Steve has always responded promptly and always with a wish to make sure that my problem has been solved.
Very helpful organizational utility for my workspaces. Works perfectly and Steve is always quick to reply with customer service.

This saves me a lot of time and thus money. I have it set to cycle through all my tabs at 10 second intervals so that, at a glance and without a single click, I can stay appraised of each instrument and timeframe in which I’m interested. No issues with installation or use. I had one question about its operation and, within hours and on a Saturday, Steve had answered me with guidance on how to achieve what I wanted to do, and it worked. HTT is a model of great customer support.

Thank you Steve for a fantastic tool. An important discovery I found with Ninjatrader is that the more charts that are open, i.e. displayed behind or side by side, the performance degrades significantly due to graphics being written and causing soft page faults (the moving of memory blocks). By using tabs, the inactive tabs seem to be like minimized windows and thus cause far fewer soft page faults. So now being able to link the tabs in a useful way opens the way for quickly seeing relationships without impacting performance.

I used to have 4 monitors with the charts scattered on the screens, happens that they were out of my field of vision and could never be aware of these charts, now I have everything concentrated in front of my eyes (2 monitors) and change the futures contract with the speed of a click, fantastic tool, fast and efficient support, highly recommended
AutoTab is excellent, it’s a feature that NJ8 really should have built-in so I was so pleased when I found this add-on. As for HighTech Trading Analysis, Steve is excellent, fast efficient support and honesty which is rare in this business. I highly recommend not only this indicator but this company too.

One of the big benefits of Ninjatrader 8 is the ability multiple chart tabs. This is especially useful if you have limited screen space. As I started working with this, I realized that I was getting my multiple time frame charts confused. They weren’t linked or coordinated at all. When I saw that High Tech had an indicator to link them correctly, I jumped at it. Now, if I hit the NQ tab on one chart, for example, my other windows go to their respective NQ chart. My multiple time frame chart all appear at once and coordinated as they should. Steve is pretty smart creating this, and he does good work. It’s greatly needed. I’ve also gotten timely support from Hight Tech on any questions that I have had.
Fantastic organizational tool for NT8 charts. If you get frustrated with the way you have to set up NT7 workspaces you will surely come to appreciate this as a valuable, time-saving tool.
For any trader following multiple instruments over a number of time-frames on a multi-monitor configuration or large monitor, the Auto Tab product for NT8 is a welcome addition – With a single click on a Tab, the charts are all synced to change to the respective instrument.
The Built in Configurable Timer also allows the user to auto scroll charts in a separate Chart window.

Excellent tool to gage how wide the market is moving. Often its difficult to see the range on a single chart and this is a lifesaver.

Also, the addition of the option to display both order and position markers is a definite PLUS! I really like the ability to adjust several parameters right on the chart without having to call up the indicator window. This is a feature that is pretty standard in all of the High Tech indys and it saves the user a lot of time and hassle. Overall, this indicator is a stellar addition to my trading toolkit. I also have a couple of the HT volume profile indicators (Sessions and Composite) and I find that all the HT indys are very intuitive with useful and plentiful user-configurable settings. Bottom line…this Chart Risk Reward indy is excellent!

The new dynamic feature and the ability to chose the parameters and visually see profit and stop loss regions has been a game changer to executing trades. I would recommend to any scalper out there to maximize awareness and visualize where opportunity presents itself.
This is an outstanding addition to NT8 for a scalper. It comes at displaying RR differently than the typical toolbar methods that other vendors use (e.g. click a drawing tool, set two or three points on the chart, view it, then erase it to be prepared for the next one). This HTC product is continually updating based on the reference anchoring I set for it. I see the RR immediately. It automatically flips its display when a short is initiated. Its anchor points are varied and can be fixed or floating. The elegant design is focused on the needs of the active day trader (scalper) and its implementation for day to day use is, as are all HTC products, second to none.

I have tried almost all of the drawing tools out that in the market. But this version of drawling tool by high tech is the best there is in the market.. easy to customized and use.. since then i have not looked else where.. i have it as a default indicator in all of my charts..
I had to recover my entire disk from a backup drive. My files were all there, but various licenses had to be manually restored including NinjaTrader and therefore this tool. The support was prompt and clear which enabled me to get back up and running easily. I use DrawBar and ColorBar extensively and I can’t imagine trading without them. I researched extensively before the purchase and after a couple years now, I could not be more pleased with the products.

Steve’s Color/Style Toolbar is so good, I feel compelled to share this for the benefit of fellow traders. Being able to draw on my charts is critical to identifying my entry and exit areas, and I combine this drawing tool with Steve’s Drawing Toolbar to totally control my drawing and to be able to customize it exactly the way I want my charts. The whole key is to be able to accurately identify my entires and exits, and these two tools help me do that. In addition, HTech’s customer service is better than anyone else’s. I appreciate that very much.
I purchased the Color Style Toolbar back when it was in its infancy. Not only has it become a leading indicator necessary for my work, but before it’s final release, HT was relentless in tackling any minor glitch that needed to be addressed in a timely manner. Customer service is just as important to me as getting a high quality product. The HT team did a fantastic job with this one – keep up the great work and many thanks for all your time and effort!!
We bought both Drawing Toolbar and Color/Style Toolbar – they actually go hand in hand – and they’re both amazing. We put them on 22 different chart windows, they run like a champ, like they were always part of Ninja 8. These tools are like life-saver to us, we do/draw everything by hand, so these tools took away that horrible “right click, select, go back, right click…” drawing process.
Design, performance, reliability (which is a huge part of any Ninja 7/8 tools) is STUNNING, also, the customization is simple and straight to the point. These tools have no flaws or any errors. We do heavy – duty use them, almost all day.
Support is beyond excellent, lightning fast and truly honest – 100% satisfaction!!!

after a recent update… just thought i would add to my prior endorsement… absolutely amazing utility…. so many ways this thing can be used he keeps updating this thing till it lacks nothing as far as a utility…almost every conceivable thing you could do with support and resistance is within a click of a button very user customizable and now with custom alerts that can be individualized for each line if one so chooses. He does amazing work.
I love the Double Click Zones Indicator. Makes drawing the zones so easy and has all the features every supply and demand trader needs. And when you think it can’t get any better than it already is, they update it and make it even better. Thank you for this indicator and for the friendly and speedy support.
Really good instant zones on Body-Only or Entire Candle…. I use a Logitech Gaming Mouse and the Logitech G13 to have instantly programmed buttons with the keyboard shortcuts.
I wish it didn’t work with clicks and instead it should work fully with keyboard shortcuts and just read the candle based on a keyboard shortcut — but that is alright — the Logitech G13 allows for all programming and for Mouse function programming. :-) So it is all good.
IT EVEN WORKS on A CHART — WITH 2 DATA SERIES AT THE SAME TIME. Which is great feature for me.
Double Click Zones not only saves me time every morning in blocking out support/resistance areas from the larger timeframe charts (where there’s minimal noise), it also saves me money: No need to engage a monthly service to tell me where the buy/sell high probability zones exist anymore. With this you can do it yourself with replication of each zone on all the charts you permit to accept global objects. It fills an important niche in the NT8 environment. The thoughtfulness, configurability, and quality of this tool (and others from this vendor) is unsurpassed. Couple all this with HTT’s outstanding support and I’ve become a Raving Fan of High Tech Trading. I think if you try their products, you will be, too.
Just purchased the Double Click Zones indicator earlier this week – Got to rate this as one of my favourite tools from the HTech products I have. Love the fact that I can mark out important levels on a Globex chart and levels are then present on the RTH chart – Extremely useful !! Also support is second to none – Many thanks Steve !!

The Double Click Zones indicator is a real time saver for marking S/R areas on charts with different time frames. Marking one chart places identical S/R areas on all linked charts with the DCZones indicator. Very practical, very useful. and very well designed indicator. Well done, Steve.

Great drawing tool.
Working with it makes my life easier every day and everything goes much faster.
The support is also great.
I’m always happy to use it.
Support is the best! I have been searching for this toolbar for years. It puts an end to most of the repeated access to the Properties menu on NT8. Most of the common changes can be made right from the toolbar. Drawing Objects can have color changes as well as labels with templates saved on the fly. By messaging ‘Edge’ on Skype, you can have almost instantaneous help. The price is well worth it to me and very reasonable by comparison.
I bought a few addons back in November of 2022 and have been using them everyday since! The most recent update to DrawBar Ultimate expands on making charting more customizable. The addition to a user-defined ranged FVG visualization is very handy. I was hand charting all of them and then switching time-frames and adjusting them accordingly. Now when that’s active it’ll find the all the fair value gaps in the defined range you selected on any time frame. It’s things like this that make them worth the money. I also have had questions and emailed Steve with them. He’s taken his time to answer and sometimes would even including a video response to a question because it was easier to explain that way.

The Ultimate Draw Bar really lives up to its name, (ULTIMATE.) I am truly impressed with the coding here to make this tool. If you like to mark up your charts this makes it extremely easy. It is one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased. After using it I plan to purchase a few more of the tools here. I really don’t know why I waited till now to get it. One of the features I really love is the ease of creating variants of the indicators and saving them to each tool and then easily pick the tool and the variation in 3 clicks. This is possible to do without but no where near as easy. WOW, WOW, WOW. Ultimate Awesome…
Use on intraday minute and range bars. Great indicator, lots of customization and options. Makes my life much simpler being able to mark up my charts real time using the onscreen tool bar rather than drop down menus. Wish I had found this tool years ago. Customer service is excellent, quick response time and always good suggestions and help.

If you do a lot of drawing on your charts, this is an absolute must-have for NT8. It is so incredibly powerful and yet easy to use, I’m able to implement trading strategies I hadn’t even considered until I started using the Draw / Color Bar. I can’t imagine using NT8 without it now, and am recommending it for all of my trading group. Support has been quick, responsive and friendly as well. I couldn’t recommend this tool more strongly – hands down it’s worth the investment.

If you trade with charts the Ultimate DrawBar is a MUST. All of the tools immediately accessible essential to understanding current price action signals and “tells”. I’ve even taken it a step forward by using a programmable macro keyboard and the mouse. This virtually eliminates a traditional keyboard and saves valuable desk space. Customer service response to each of my questions has be great.

Have only been using the Drawbar/Colourbar (Elite package) a month, and haven’t yet explored all of the functions. So far, it’s proving to be really helpful, and aspects of it have allowed me to overcome some of NT8’s drawing foibles which were giving my machine grief.

The DrawBar Ultimate is a must have for any serious trader. It makes marking the chart with all drawing objects and more, incredibly fast and efficient. I have already recommended it to all the traders i know. Truly a must have! I wish i had known about it years ago. Also the support that i’ve received has been second to none.

The DrawBar Ultimate for NT8 is the one tool I would not want to trade without. It is easy to use and customize to how you want it. It makes charting a breeze. You are able to draw your objects on the chart and hide them when you want so they are still there when needed again. I can’t imagine trading and charting without it. The product support has always been very top-notch too. I would highly recommend for anyone looking at and working with charts.
I absolutely could not live without the DrawBar Ultimate for NT8. It is one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased. Being able to use the rectangle drawing tool, extend it out to the right, show price labels and change the color is one of the best things ever to show areas of interest… And, using the HTFibs draw tool for the globex session is another favorite of mine. Using the HTabcd tool is amazing for finding AB CD completions — makes it so easy! In my opinion, this is one of the best tools out there…

This drawing tool is the best drawing tool for NinjaTrader, bar none. Being able to draw on my charts is critical to identifying my entry and exit areas, and this tool does that better than any drawing tool, and it does it so conveniently. I like fast and simple, and I can do my drawing quickly and easily. I combine this drawing tool with Steve’s Color/Style Toolbar to totally control my drawing and to be able to customize it exactly the way I want my charts. The whole key is to be able to accurately identify my entires and exits, and these two tools help me do that. In addition, HTech’s customer service is better than anyone else’s, so if I have a need for an indicator, who am I going to buy it from? Yea, that’s easy–HTech. Hey, I realize this may sound like an advertisement or like I got paid. It’s not, and I didn’t. I just appreciate when someone creates a great product and supports it as well.
Along with the Color Style Toolbar, I can’t say enough good things about this handy indicator! Being able to customize exactly what I want to see, without having to sift through some drop down menu of things I don’t — makes this tool a priceless addition to the my belt. Excellent way to keep track of the Bigger Picture Time Frames in 1 chart, this is a smart, functional and elegant way of displaying the Candles with extreme customizing and ease of use, highly recommended if you’re a Multi-Time Frame Trader. AAA+++
Multibar is a very clever solution as I try to look into different timeframe and chart types and whenever you put for example a 15 min chart with 8 range (2 data series) it doesn’t reflect what you want to see. Meaning I would like to see INSDIE the 15 min candle, what the 8 range candles are doing, and previous there was no elegant way to view it until edge solved this problem.
when I saw it, I was very grateful that someone has taken the time to solve this issue. it works perfectly well and I am very happy to finally have it! Great product where you can see as Xray inside the candles. Highly recommended.
This is an outstanding product which I have found beats every competitor. For example, others will require you to configure the number of minor bars within the major (overlay) bar. For example, if I have a 3 minute chart and want to see an overlay of the 15 minute bars, I must configure them to “group” 5 bars (3×5=15). Consistent with all of HTT’s products, Steve only requires that you enter the bar’s time period (15), and not approximate a value (such as trying to display a 30 minute bar overlaying an 8 minute chart… good luck). It’s simply another high quality product built by a trader for traders. I wish I found HTT much sooner!

Htech always puts out some of the best utilities in the industry… practical and useful and well done. This is no exception… there are always hidden gems with his stuff, TPO is one of those things in this version that takes it over the top.

This is the best product for determining daily/weekly/monthly OHLC and many more levels on basically any bar type. The updated version has more bells and whistles including the ability to import the levels overs to NT8 Market Analyzer. Tech support was extremely helpful in getting my custom script up and running with PriceTimePlus.
Overall this is a great product which I use daily in all of my charts. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to visualize price levels on their charts.
This is another solid product, clean, and fast, with useful information for real-time decisions in trading. The only improvement I’d like to see is how line overlaps are drawn. As examples, let’s say yesterday’s low is the same as today’s high (even within a few ticks); or, one has multiple VWAPs (daily, weekly) on a single chart and one of these levels overlay. Today, those overlaid line labels are unreadable. I would suggest if two occur near each other to create a single line, then the indicator place one label immediately above and the other immediately below the line. If there are 3 that converge, then sort by label name, place the middle one on the line, and the other two above and below. Rarely have I seen more than 3. I’d suggest it be a custom option (e.g. Overlap Lines: yes/no) so those who like discrete levels can leave it as it is; the rest of us who trade within zones won’t care if the aggregate of the 3 lines (all within a few ticks of each other) is slightly off due to the spacing. But, all vendors I’ve seen currently do this so top grades for HT. If anyone can figure out how not to step on their own labels, I know High Tech can.

I bought NT7 version of PriceTimes Plus some time ago, and now have also purchased NT8 version. Very helpful for trading planning levels and gaps. Nice and fast service without a doubt. Functionality is great. I work mainly designing automated trading systems. The only small issue I ran into is that only the most recent volume S/R levels are exposed limiting it’s use for me somewhat. For a manual trader it works perfectly and is a must, especially for some trader’s that continue to trade without volume confirmation.

I’m always looking for potential turning points, and this is a great indicator for doing just that. I use it in conjunction with the drawing bar and they make a great combo for me. On the swings indicator, it’s very flexible to determine the strength of a swing by determining the bars before and bars after a swing to define it. No one else does that, and that is what makes it extremely useful. You can see exactly what you want without having to draw horizontal lines. Plus, I need to say that Steve is always ready to help with questions or issues with any of his indicators. His tech support is really good, and I appreciate that.

Finally! Here is a premiere traditional trend line drawing indicator that will not only saves the trader a lot of manual effort, but is wholly configurable and can display one timeframe’s trend lines on another timeframe’s chart. I won’t repeat all the options available here, as you can read about them in the product description. I do want to make special mention of Steve’s excellent support. In the first iteration of this new product that I saw, the trend lines would not extend into the future. (I generally extend mine when drawing manually to see around what time of day they may converge if those trends continue, etc.). A day after I mentioned this to Steve, he’d enhanced the product to make extending the trends an option! There are a lot of vendors out there but Steve and HTTA are consistently in the uppermost tier for Best Support from my POV. His work is always solid, trouble-free, and customizations costs (my request to extend the lines was not a custom job) are always reasonable. I can’t say enough good things about High Tech.

Ton of customizability….EX: you can face all previous days profiles towards the right and have today’s session pointing left as to easily distinguish current day, adjust POC, VA area, previous close, low volume area colors….etc. A lot of design thought went into this indicator with a traders view point. Installation, setup a breeze , tech support is patient and accommodating. I’ve recommend looking at Steve’s site for new products.
In my opinion VPS is the best volume profile tool on the market.

I’d echo these 5star reviews. I’ve tried maybe a half dozen or so other vwaps out there and High Tech’s is my go to. It has all the features of others (and few extras), but the Quality of Life features that this and Edge’s other indicators have are what puts it way ahead. This is the on-the-fly settings, instant display on-off, low PC resources, and….do it yourself Machine ID/license management. You can tell that Edge is using/improving his own indicators. I recently had a question and request…he was on top of it right away! Very personal support which is unusual these days. Thanks Edge!!!

I have used the VWAP indicator for a year or more with great results. The VWAP is the only average that I am aware of that prints the same value on any and all time frame charts and regardless of type of chart (time-based, renkos, ticks, etc.). Unlike moving averages such as SMAs and EMAs which have different values for the same moving average period on different time-based charts. In other words, the value of a 50EMA on a 5-minute chart is not the same as a 50EMA on a 30-minute chart. However the VWAP prints the identical value on any and all charts. One of the reasons the “big boys” use the VWAP as an essential tool. HiTech’s VWAP offers far more features than other VWAP products. Trade between the VWAP upper standard deviation #1 and the lower standard deviation #1 at your own risk . . . but enjoy the bountiful profits if trading beyond those levels. Nearly every component of HiTech’s VWAP can be modified whether its colors, line types or enabling and disabling the many features.
Another well designed indicator from hTech. The NT8 version works exactly as expected. I’m very happy with all the hTech indicators I own.
I would like to say a few words about the VWAP indicator I have been useing it since 2016 in NT7 now using in NT8 It works so well that I use it every trading day would not trade with out it and as for Mr. Edge he is the very best vendor and a person you can really trust.
This is an amazing tool in my arsenal. I am absolutely happy with it and it helps me making good trading decisions for both entry and exits. Also, customer support is great!
I have tried a number of VWAP indicators and find this iteration the most feature-rich version. While Ninja version 8 has now added a free VWAP, that version lacks the power of this one. In fact, in this trader’s opinion, there are aspects about the free version in Ninja that could seriously mislead the trader. I love the fact that I can click the mouse wheel and have the entire indicator disappear or return with another click. This allows me to add both a DAILY and WEEKLY VWAP on my charts and show or not show either one. I’ve only recently been introduced to the power of the VWAP but have already benefited from its ability to predict where the major market players are targeting. In addition, this indicator allows you to show the closing VWAP price of the prior two trading sessions, levels that are also very powerful.

Once again, a quality HTech product – The VWAP Plus is brilliant – Quick easy access to all plots. Any plot changes can be done directly from the drop-down Toolbar icon on the chart.
No hesitation in recommending the VWAP Plus for NinjaTrader 8 – 10 out of 10 !!
I’ve tried a few other VWAP indicators and this version by far uses the least amount of resources. We all know how finicky NT8 can be with custom indicators and the over-consumption of RAM. Steve knows what he’s doing and the options available in this VWAP version would meet any traders needs. The quick access toolbar to quickly add or hide dev bands/shading/etc makes this indicator paramount. The ease of updating the indicator is a plus as well. I’ve noticed an update on the version every so often which brings about even more features. All it takes is a quick Skype to Steve and he provides an executable for the update installation. No need to uninstall/reinstall or mess around with keeping your NT8 folders clean. Thanks Steve for staying on top of everything.
I use HT’s vwap indicator as my primary trading tool and it far surpasses it’s competition. As excellently put in previous review, the functionality truly is second to none. The addition of a button to the chart toolbar, as with most HT indicators, provides easy access to display, or not, various settings including vwap/past vwaps, SD’s/past SD’s etc. The features added to this indicator are well thought out and designed for the active trader. The HT team are always responsive and have assisted me either via email or skype with my queries and have provided me with additional insight on how best to use their indicators. Out of all the vwap indicators out there, this is the one I always recommend.
In a world where volume moves Markets, you won’t be disappointed by adding this to your tool belt. The functionality of this indicator is second to none and like other indicators I’ve purchase from HT, the customizational abilities won’t disappoint. Although it has several uses, helping me with my exits and staying in trades longer, has this indicator paying for itself over and over. Great job HT Team!
