NinjaTrader ships a basic drawing bar for free. DrawBar Ultimate replaces it with a fast top or side NinjaTrader 8 toolbar and 36+ custom drawing objects for levels, patterns, profiles, zones, text, and risk and reward work that the platform’s defaults cannot match.

The speed is only half of it. Every custom object carries its own right-click menu, so a selected drawing can be extended left or right, snapped to a bar, labeled, restyled, saved to a template, or removed without ever reopening a property window. That per-object control is as much the product as the toolbar itself.

Every custom object has its own right-click menu

This is what NinjaTrader’s built-in tools cannot do. Select any DrawBar object, right-click, and adjust it in place: extend a line left or right, snap its start or end to a chosen bar, turn on price, points, ticks, dollars, percent, bars, time, or time-span labels, add custom text, or save and load a template. The chart object becomes the control surface, so you never reopen a property window just to make a change.

Draw or auto-show gaps, fair value gaps, and swings

DrawBar Ultimate’s newest NinjaTrader 8 tools mark bar-closing gaps, fair value gaps, and swings, and any one of them can display all three at once. Better still, right-click the toolbar icon and DrawBar auto-shows the open gaps, fair value gaps, or swings for exactly the chart view you are on, with no manual drawing. Each one clears itself when price closes through it, on the high, the low, or the close as you prefer.

Click entry, stop, and target for a clean reward-to-risk read right on the chart.

Fixed-position text

Pin text to a spot on the chart so it stays put as the bars scroll past it.

Show past the last bar

Remove by group

Clear every object of one type at once, or hide and show all drawings with one click.

Good to know: alerts on a drawing rely on NinjaTrader rendering that object, so an alert only fires while its chart tab is active; an inactive tab is not rendering, so nothing runs to trip it. And after a major DrawBar update, re-save your drawing templates once so they store the newest object properties.

Individual Products
Individual HTech product purchases include a non-expiring license for the purchased product and one year of free updates from the date of purchase. After the update period ends, the product does not expire. You may continue using the version you already own, but future updates are not included unless a new update period, upgrade, or replacement license is purchased.

All Access
All Access is an annual access membership for eligible HTech NinjaTrader tools. It does not auto-renew and does not automatically bill again. When an All Access membership expires, All Access-only products expire unless you choose to purchase a new membership. Any individual products you purchased separately remain available under their own license terms.

Registration
HTech products require registration before they can be used, including free products. Registration may require your NinjaTrader Machine ID or other licensing information depending on the product. Please review the instructions provided after purchase or access for download, installation, and registration details.

License Use
Licenses are for the original purchaser only and may not be shared, transferred, resold, distributed, or used by multiple customers.

Refunds
HTech products are digital software products. Once a product has been purchased, downloaded, licensed, or accessed, the sale is final and non-refundable.

Support
Support is available through the HTech Discord support channel, Microsoft Teams when available, and direct support contact when needed. HTech makes a reasonable effort to respond within one business day, but support may be limited for third-party platform issues, computer setup, brokerage connections, discontinued products, or platform changes outside HTech’s control.

TradeStation
TradeStation products are discontinued and are no longer available for new purchases. Existing customers may continue using what they already purchased or licensed, but future updates are not planned and support may be limited.

My Account Downloads
After purchase or access, your available HTech downloads are located in your My Account page. Log in with the same account used for the purchase, then open the Downloads tab in My Account.

Installer Passwords
Most individual HTech products are delivered as password-protected self-installing files. The required installer password is included in your order email. If your order includes multiple products, that email may include multiple product passwords.

Please keep your order email in a safe place for future updates, reinstalls, or computer changes.

Machine ID Registration
All HTech NinjaTrader products require Machine ID registration before they can be used, including free products. Log in to My Account and use the NT8 Registration menu item to register your NinjaTrader Machine ID before starting NinjaTrader with the product installed.

Email Registration
The first time you run an HTech NinjaTrader product, you may be asked to enter your email address. Use the same email address registered on your HTech website account. This is normally a one-time step and should not be required again for regular product updates.

Installation Steps
Close NinjaTrader before installing or updating HTech products. Download your product installer, run the downloaded file, follow the installation prompts, and enter the installer password from your order email when prompted.

After installation, start NinjaTrader. If a Trusted Source message appears, accept it. After accepting the Trusted Source message, restart NinjaTrader once more.

Updates and Reinstalls
Do not uninstall previous versions before updating. HTech installers are designed to install over the existing version. After installing the update, open NinjaTrader and the product will be updated.

Individual product purchases include one year of free updates from the date of purchase. During the active update period, available updates can be downloaded from your My Account page.

All Access
All Access uses a separate installer and access model. Eligible HTech NinjaTrader tools are available while the All Access membership is active. If you already own individual HTech products, those separate purchases remain available under their own license terms. When All Access expires, All Access-only products expire and downloads/access end unless a new membership is purchased.

TradeStation
TradeStation products are discontinued and are no longer available for new purchases. Existing customers may continue using downloads they already purchased or licensed when available, but future updates are not planned and support may be limited.

    Support is the best! I have been searching for this toolbar for years. It puts an end to most of the repeated access to the Properties menu on NT8. Most of the common changes can be made right from the toolbar. Drawing Objects can have color changes as well as labels with templates saved on the fly. By messaging ‘Edge’ on Skype, you can have almost instantaneous help. The price is well worth it to me and very reasonable by comparison.

    I bought a few addons back in November of 2022 and have been using them everyday since! The most recent update to DrawBar Ultimate expands on making charting more customizable. The addition to a user-defined ranged FVG visualization is very handy. I was hand charting all of them and then switching time-frames and adjusting them accordingly. Now when that’s active it’ll find the all the fair value gaps in the defined range you selected on any time frame. It’s things like this that make them worth the money. I also have had questions and emailed Steve with them. He’s taken his time to answer and sometimes would even including a video response to a question because it was easier to explain that way.

    The Ultimate Draw Bar really lives up to its name, (ULTIMATE.) I am truly impressed with the coding here to make this tool. If you like to mark up your charts this makes it extremely easy. It is one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased. After using it I plan to purchase a few more of the tools here. I really don’t know why I waited till now to get it. One of the features I really love is the ease of creating variants of the indicators and saving them to each tool and then easily pick the tool and the variation in 3 clicks. This is possible to do without but no where near as easy. WOW, WOW, WOW. Ultimate Awesome…

It is so incredibly powerful and yet easy to use, I’m able to implement trading strategies I hadn’t even considered until I started using the Draw / Color Bar.     If you trade with charts the Ultimate DrawBar is a MUST. All of the tools immediately accessible essential to understanding current price action signals and “tells”. I’ve even taken it a step forward by using a programmable macro keyboard and the mouse. This virtually eliminates a traditional keyboard and saves valuable desk space. Customer service response to each of my questions has be great.

    I had to recover my entire disk from a backup drive. My files were all there, but various licenses had to be manually restored including NinjaTrader and therefore this tool. The support was prompt and clear which enabled me to get back up and running easily. I use DrawBar and ColorBar extensively and I can’t imagine trading without them. I researched extensively before the purchase and after a couple years now, I could not be more pleased with the products.

    The DrawBar Ultimate for NT8 is the one tool I would not want to trade without. It is easy to use and customize to how you want it. It makes charting a breeze. You are able to draw your objects on the chart and hide them when you want so they are still there when needed again. I can’t imagine trading and charting without it. The product support has always been very top-notch too. I would highly recommend for anyone looking at and working with charts.

    I absolutely could not live without the DrawBar Ultimate for NT8. It is one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased. Being able to use the rectangle drawing tool, extend it out to the right, show price labels and change the color is one of the best things ever to show areas of interest… And, using the HTFibs draw tool for the globex session is another favorite of mine. Using the HTabcd tool is amazing for finding AB CD completions — makes it so easy! In my opinion, this is one of the best tools out there…
